How family status affects education We all in all face to think of the uniform things when we picture "high civilise". Cheerleaders, proms, declare cards, football games. The thing that I shit always questioned is, do children that come from lower status families do worse in school than ones from higher status families? I noticed as early as middle school that the ones who werent as rock-steady financially tended to study less than the ones whose families were surface off. This twainered me to a point, for my family wasnt dirt poor, but we werent rich, either.
We had a normal hous e, dickens cars, both my parents had jobs and we were never hungry. My grades werent perfect, but I managed to always become close the 3.0 grade point average, which was better than my friends, who came from poorer families. They barely passed.
