The central conflict is the affinity between Troy and Cory. The two of them overhear conflicting views around Corys future and, as the play goes on, this rocky resistant crumbles. The play opens up as Troy comes back from black market and lift tries to engage him in a conversation most Cory and the recent news of recruitment.
